Central UP Chamber executive meet reviews business initiatives, draws up action plan for final four months
Amit Sharma। Bareilly । Keeping pace with the rapidly changing business landscape, the Central UP Chamber of Commerce and Industry Welfare Association is set to organise a seminar on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) in mid-September. The proposal was discussed at the chamber’s executive committee meeting held at Hotel Oberoi Anand, Civil Lines, on Saturday.
The seminar is aimed at giving entrepreneurs and traders practical insights into the commercial applications of AI, emerging technologies, investment avenues and key aspects of IPOs. Members said access to such knowledge would help local businesses adapt to changing market dynamics and explore new opportunities.
The meeting, chaired by president Rajiv Singhal and conducted with secretary Sharad Agrawal, also focused on the chamber’s activity calendar for the remaining four months of the year. Members stressed that programmes should be planned well in advance and deliver tangible benefits to the industry and trade community.A review of recent initiatives included a day-night cricket match organised with Joint Club, an Excellence Award ceremony, a panel discussion on Ease of Doing Business with participation from government departments, and a free helmet distribution drive for Kanwariyas during Sawan. The proposed administration award ceremony was also discussed, with members underlining the need for stronger coordination between officials and the business community.
The chamber also agreed to organise a Diwali programme on November 4.
Singhal said the organisation would continue to raise industry and trade issues on appropriate platforms while providing members with information, guidance and opportunities.
Several executive members, including Ajay Shukla, S K Singh, Keshav Kumar Agarwal, Ghanshyam Khandelwal, Kapil Vaishya, Anoop Agarwal, Ankur Agarwal, Sanjay Rekriwal, Rajesh Gupta, Mahendra Singh Basu and others, attended the meeting.
